Help me bring back my character to the ABC series 'Lost'

I was originally cast as 'Jerome' but he was cut from the series this season (writer's strike, ugh!). I think the storyline could use another fleshed out character or two, don't you?

Help me get back on the show -- sign my petition!

How I got motivated

Who knows who’ll come across the site, and who’ll care at all about a character they never really got introduced to, but it hit me today that this site needed to exist, for me, and for you.

I’m obviously an actor, and in a very non-actor like way, I want to keep my identity private on this Tumblr. Obviously (did I just use it twice in two sentences?) the producers and writers of Lost know who I am since they cast me but I’m chasing down new roles on shows and it would be bad to put my name out there as I’m auditioning constantly.

I really wanted Lost. I’ll be 100% honest. The parts that I normally read for are.. crap. Lost was an opportunity to be on one of the top shows on TV right now and to be a part of what I consider to be the new golden age of television. (on re-read that totally sounds like I’m sucking up to the writers, hope it works :) It was great to tell my friends and family that I’d be on the show (though I couldn’t share much else), and it was really awful to break the news to them when it was all said and done and Jerome was cut before we knew much of him.

But enough about me. What about you? You obviously love Lost, you made it to my site, right? Jerome could be the next compelling storyline that clues you in to the Lost world just a little bit more… So please, fill out my petition (look on the right bar) for you, or for me, or just because you’ve got 10 seconds to kill. That’s all it takes.

In the plane crash scene from the pilot (and referenced countless times), Jerome is one of the 48 survivors that we don’t come to know. I’ve appeared in several scenes over the seasons and according to the writers, Jerome was a character they had their eye on fleshing out from the very start.

No offense to the writers, but Jerome’s story was way better than Nikki and Paolo’s. That episode was so weirdly out of place, right? Am I right?

Why I need your help!

In 2004 I was cast for the character of ‘Jerome’ on the ABC series Lost. I was slated to start working this season, but because of the writer’s strike and the subsequent shortening of the season, my character was left on the cutting room floor!

Help me convince the writers and producers of Lost (who are really cool, btw) to bring back Jerome and tell his story!
